Terms of use
Last updated: 16 September 2026
SafeHire is in development and offered as a pilot. These terms will be updated before public launch.
Using SafeHire
By using SafeHire you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Workers
- SafeHire is free for workers. No one may charge you a fee to see, apply for or get a job found on SafeHire. If anyone asks, do not pay, and report the job.
- Keep your real name, phone number and documents out of your public profile. Share them only when you apply.
- Give true information when you apply.
Employers
- Give true information about your company and send the documents we ask for. Your jobs appear only after your company is checked.
- Post only real jobs, with honest pay and conditions, that follow the law where the work is done.
- Never ask workers for money, including recruitment, placement, training or document fees.
- Use applicants' details only to consider them for the job they applied to. Do not share, sell or keep them after you no longer need them.
What we may do
- Review, refuse or take down any job advert, immediately if a job may be unsafe or charges fees.
- Suspend an employer whose verification lapses or who breaks these terms. A suspended employer loses access to applicants' details.
- Change or pause the service while it is in development.
Reports
Anyone can report a job from its page. Reports are anonymous. We review them and act as quickly as we can.
Our responsibility
We check employers and review jobs to reduce risk, but we cannot guarantee any job or employer. Take care, never pay to get work, and contact us or the local authorities if something is wrong.
